SQI launches food safety lecture series
Shanghai Institute of Quality Inspection and Technical Research (SQI) launched a series of lectures for food safety on March 29.
Xu Fei, professor from the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology and Xing Zengtao, researcher of Shanghai Municipal Agricultural Commission were invited to interpret some of the main issues regarding agriculture.
The lectures covered the overview of food safety risk assessment, analysis of sampling inspection of agricultural product quality supervision and progress in the inspection technology of pesticide residues in agricultural products.
The series aims to promote research capacity of technical personnel, to understand risk assessment, and government's demand.
