SQI launches volunteer campaigns to promote safety awareness
The Shanghai Institute of Quality Inspection and Technical Research (SQI) launched a series of volunteer campaigns in Waitan subdistrict, Shanghai in March.
Liu Ding of the SQI detailed food labeling knowledge for students and residents in Waitan subdistrict. The information covered some common products such as potato chips, chocolate candies, drinks, and dairy products. Liu used vivid language to present material about the nutritional ingredients of these popular snacks.
Luo Chan from the chemical department of SQI also told residents how to choose plastic lunch boxes, plastic bags, stainless steel pots, and enamel basins and provided the correct way of using them.
Local residents gave thumbs-up to the volunteer campaign which helps them to promote living quality and learn more about how to choose food products in the correct way.
