ASTM visits SIS for technological exchange
Recently, a delegation led by John Pace, vice-president of sales in International Association for Testing Materials (ASTM) visited Shanghai Institute of Quality and Standardization (SIS) for technological exchange.
ASTM International is an international organization that develops and publishes voluntary consensus technical standards for a wide range of materials, products, systems, and services.
At the conference, SIS briefed on its 13th Five-Year Plan (2016-20) for technology promotion and reviewed the selling situation of production in ASTM.
The two sides conducted an in-depth discussion on the changes of the ASTM metadata transfer mode.
John Pace hoped that both sides will continue to deepen innovative cooperation on laboratory proficiency testing projects, ASTM compass platform and E-learning network courses.
The exchange further expanded the space for cooperation between the two sides. SIS will accelerate the construction of one-stop standard information precision service system to improve user experience on the base of sharing resources.
