Fudan University delegation visits SQI for academic exchange
Zhong Jiang, professor of School of Life Sciences, Fudan University led a delegation to visit Shanghai Institute of Quality Inspection and Technical Research (SQI) on Jan 2.
Weng Shiyu,the principal of the Institute of Quality and Inspection of Food and Cosmetics and some representatives of relevant departments attended the seminar.
At the seminar, Doctor Liu Yang, an advanced SQI engineer,summarized the cooperative projects between SQI and Fudan University. He also presented the results from the international study the two sides achieved in probiotics detection technology of food field and introduced the staged achievements in the national project,Analysis and Application of Microbial Community Diversity in Ready-to-eat Fermented Food.
The two sides also conducted a deep exchange in some high-end biological technicalities and expressed their cooperation intentions in fields such as microorganism testing, pathogenic bacteria analysis and toxicological evaluation.
In the past few years, SQI and Fudan University has made full use of their advantages and cooperated in new product testing technology and standardized testing method for traditional Chinese handmade paper.
They are hoping that the two sides can deepen partnership and innovate in cooperative development model to promote economic and social development in Shanghai.
