SMBQTS attends 2017 National Measurement Symposium
2017 National Measurement Symposium was held in Beijing on Dec 26-28 to conclude the measurement achievements from the year of 2017 and discuss further assignments for 2018.
Qin Yinzhi, deputy director of General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ) and Tao Yonghua, deputy director of Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision (SMBQTS) attended the meeting.
During the symposium, Qin made a keynote speech and affirmed the measurement achievements made in the previous year covering many aspects including measurement law system construction, quality promotion and measurement science initiative. He also detailed the main work in 2018 to deepen measurement reform to promote high-quality development.
Tao, on behalf of SMBQTS, delivered a speech during the meeting with the theme of "innovation and reform to promote Shanghai measurement construction". He stated the primary efforts made by SMBQTS in promoting measure and testing works in 2017. It covered eight aspects including suspending measurement charges policy, organizing measurement demonstration activities, boosting measurement education, and improving the industrial measurement and testing service system.
"SMBQTS will continue to play a key role in promoting Shanghai measurement work to deepen metrological administrative examination and approval reform and strengthen the supervision and administration of metrological instruments," he added.
More than 150 representatives from quality and technical supervision from different provinces and municipalities participated in the meeting.
