SMBQTS hosts quality practice forum

A 2017 practice forum was held in Fengxian district, Shanghai recently to strengthen quality awareness and promote Shanghai quality.
Shen Weimin , deputy director of the Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision (SMBQTS), said in his keynote speech that Shanghai has been making great efforts to build itself into a technical innovation center with great global influence, and illustrated developments from three perspectives including national requirements and the current conditions in the Shanghai quality program. Shen also put forward four strategic measures.
Gu Yi, the deputy director of Fengxian district, stated that Fengxian district will continue to insist on the Shanghai quality spirit, pay strict attention to quality development and safety supervision and explore quality practices with district features.
Forum attendees, including colleges and enterprises, communicated with each other about common quality management tools, quality requirements that micro enterprises should have and measures for quality inspection, standardization, and certification for micro businesses.
The forum was shared online through a WeChat account. Thirty-seven companies participated online sharing 43 quality practice examples.
Two hundred representatives from different official departments, institutions and small and medium enterprises took part in the forum.
