IHS Markit Standards Store visits SMBQTS
A delegation from IHS Markit Standards Store gave an exchange tour to Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision (SMBQTS) on June 6.

Chen Xiaojun introduced major work done by Shanghai to promote the standardization services sector. He spoke of his prospects for HIS to develop standards for small and medium-size enterprises (SMEs) and create branch office of it in Shanghai.
Ken Honroth promised to do it bit in helping SMBQTS work out more big data ways to improve standardization services and quality. He said, IHS would try best to produce opportunities for Chinese businesses engaged in setting international standards and co-work with Shanghai to build the city a world standardization base.
IHS, founded in 1959, is said to be “the industry's most comprehensive source of hardcopy and PDF technical industry standards and government and military standards” and own world’s greatest standards database and have developed businesses with over 400 standard-setting organizations around the globe. The world famous institution has 13,000 staff in total working in subsidiary agencies settled in 130 countries to fill more than 60,000 customers’ needs for specifications and standards.
